Brian Gets Role on FX Networks 'The Shield'

wanted to share some pretty exciting
news with you...or at least some news that I am pretty excited about!?
I have been added to the cast of the Primetime Emmy® Award winning & Golden
Globe® Award winning drama series, "THE SHIELD" in the recurring role of
DETECTIVE TAVON GARRIS.
Here's what the critics say about the show: Arguably the most highly
acclaimed series in the history of ad-supported cable television, THE SHIELD
produced basic cables first ever Primetime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Lead
Actor in a Drama Series for its star Michael Chiklis. THE SHIELD also
garnered Emmy nominations for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series for
creator Shawn Ryan, and Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for Clark
Johnson, basic cable firsts in those respective categories. THE SHIELD breaks
the conventional formula of the cop genre. It plays out in a tough, morally
ambiguous world in which the line between good and bad is crossed every day.
It focuses on the tension between a group of corrupt cops and cops who play
it by the book, both groups effective at fighting crime by employing
distinctively different methods.
At any rate...my character is the new guy on the "bad boy" police strike
force. I will be in at least 2 episodes and could "potentially" be around
for quite a bit longer (for good?) if all goes well. That means that I will
be in the last 2-4 episodes of this season -- my storylilne starts with
episode #10 (there are 13 in a season). Please say a nice prayer for me to
stick around on the show! BETTER YET... when you do see me on the
show...WRITE LETTERS SAYING YOU WANT TO SEE MORE!!! (BIG SMILE!)
THE SHIELD airs on Tuesdays @ 10 p.m. e/p, 9 p.m. c. Season 2 Premieres
