Romantic Comedies News: Codeblack Acquired Politics of Love (2010)

Codeblack has acquired distribution rights for aromantic comedy titled, Politics of Love (2010). The movie is starred by Bollywood star, Mallika Sherawat and Brian J. White. The company is planning to release the romantic comedy in the US, this July.
Politics of Love (2010) was inspired by the slew of publicly documented election love stories that sprung up during Obama’s Presidential push. The story centers on Kyle Franklin (Brian J. White), a black Republican who falls in love with an Indian Democrat, Aretha Gupta (Mallika Sherawat), during the 2008 presidential election.
The romantic comedy is directed by William Dear. Dear’s previous movies include If Looks Could Kill (1991), Angels in the Outfield (1994) and Wild America (1997). The movie is also starred by Loretta Devine, Gerry Bednop and Ruby Dee.
Politics of Love (2010) will be released in the US, July 2011.
