and the Heroes Basketball Foundation present the first annual

DALLAS ALL-STAR CELEBRITY SLAM JAM 2007

This morning, Reia called me regarding a personal crisis. Her 2-year-old son, Jared has just been diagnosed with a rare disorder called Sanfilippo syndrome.

AND THE HEROES BASKETBALL FOUNDATION

Round up the family for Dallas’ first-ever All-Star Celebrity SLAM JAM basketball game when the Dallas Mavs players will be on hand to help coach and cheer on owner Mark Cuban and 25 celebrities from the NBA Entertainment League. Joining Cuban for this authentic, professional-quality game of high-energy hoops, will be actor/rapper Ice Cube (Are We There Yet?, Barbershop 2 and Friday), actor/rapper Bow Wow, Donald Faison (Scrubs and Clueless), Steve Howey (Reba), Terry Crews (Everybody Hates Chris and Norbit), Flex Alexander (Snakes on a Plane), Geoff Stults (7th Heaven), James Lesure (Las Vegas), Danny Masterson (That 70's Show), Keith Robinson (Dream Girls - sang during the Academy Awards), TV host Joel McHale (The Soup), Brian White (Stomp the Yard), comedian/host Bill Bellamy (NBC’s Last Comic Standing), Brandon Routh (Superman), and TV host Terrence Jenkins (106 & Park). and Assisting with coaching duties will be Raven (That’s So Raven), Stacey Keibler (WWE Wrestler and Dancing with the Stars) and host Rosci (106 & Park).

Tip-off is at 2 p.m., and the family-fun game will feature the Dallas Mavericks Dancers, the Mavs Man, the Mavs Maniacs and all the spectacular festivities seen at the Mavs home games. So don’t miss seeing Mark Cuban and the other celebs being coached by Jason Terry, Dirk Nowitzki, Josh Howard, Jerry Stackhouse, Devin Harris or other current Mavericks players. All proceeds will benefit the youth charities of the Dallas Mavericks Foundation and the Heroes Basketball Foundation.
