Current
Network - Keeping Track of Brian White
Next up: Brian White from "The Family Stone". Brian
was such a smart, interesting, good-looking guy I believe he caused
impure thoughts for one hair and makeup person here at Current. I won't
say which one though. She was happy to hear, as I'm sure you'll all
be, that there are near-naked pics of Brian on his website from his
modeling/dance days.
Brian's got so much going on right now it's hard to keep track...
there's Warm2Kids, an organization that supports and helps middle school & high
school kids be the best they can be; Phunk Phenomenon, an organization
for kids centered around dance; and his production company and the
bajillion movies he's in or working on right now. He's definitely a
mover & a shaker and an actor worth flagging in your "this
person should be interesting to watch rise to the top" file.
Oh! A White Christmas... Brian White... the movie he's in, "The
Family Stone," is out at Christmas... all of the stuff we shot
with him has the Christmas tree in the background... just in case
it needed explaining.

ABOUT CURRENT
Current is the first national network created by, for and with an 18-34
year-old audience, offering 24 hours of independent programming.
The new TV network adopts what has made the Internet the medium of
choice for young adults-customizable content and consumer participation.
Current
will also enlist its viewers to become creative partners, providing
an open forum to submit viewer-produced content, making it
the first television network whose programming will be supplied in
part by the very audience who watches it.
The network is the brainchild of former Vice President Al Gore and
entrepreneur Joel Hyatt. Headquartered in San Francisco, the network
promises a programming slate that's exciting, smart, fun and fearless.
Our Los Angeles studio and offices are conveniently located right in
the heart of Hollywood.
The programming is short-format and is put into
a scheduled rotation, just like a song in an iPod shuffle. A feature
in circulation runs
on average 4 times a day, which means it could have 28 airings a
week! Topics range from the hottest trends in technology, fashion,
television, video games, films and music...to pressing issues regarding
the environment, relationships, spirituality, politics, and finance
and parenting...subjects that young adults can relate to.
