Roman (Joseph) has asked flight attendant girlfriend Nina Thomas (Calhoun) for her hand in marriage twelve times in their twelve -year relationship. Each time she has rejected his offer. Frustrated with the lack of progression in their lives, he decides to give a final ultimatum to be wed, and accept whatever she decides, but vows to never ask again. Afraid that she may lose him, Nina finally accepts his proposal. Nina's best friend Tammy rants that she is making the biggest mistake of her life, especially since Roman is the only guy Nina has been intimate with. Tammy suggests that Nina have a little fun and experience another man before she gets married. Nina mocks the idea, but the fun and games spiral into reality when she meets the handsome Quincy (White) while working in Los Angeles. A routine layover spins into a night full of adventure, passion, hard decisions and discovery.
